News Ciamis, (harapanrakyat.com), – Access to road infrastructure in the Gunung Asih (Gunas) II area, Margaluyu Village, Cikoneng District, Ciamis Regency, is temporarily closed.
The road is a connecting access between villages that connects the area of Margaluyu Village with Panaragan Village, Cikoneng District.
In the last few days, the access road has been blocked by gates, either from Panaragan Village or vice versa.
From the observations of HarapanRakyat.com, Monday (21/03/2022), the access road is currently receiving a development/repair program from the Margaluyu Village Government.
Seen along the road there are piles of sand and gravel material as well as one unit of heavy equipment (setum).
However, on that day there were no visible activities of residents or workers carrying out road repair activities.
Margaluyu Cikoneng Road Infrastructure Severely Damaged
Previously, according to residents’ information, the Gunas II Margaluyu road infrastructure was in pretty bad condition.
The condition of the road infrastructure damage lasted for several years.
During that time, residents have repeatedly asked for improvements to the road infrastructure.
Reportedly, the application for repair of the Gunas II Margaluyu road infrastructure was hampered due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fortunately, this year the program to improve access to the connecting road between the villages was soon realized.
In other words, the hopes of the residents of Gunung Asih Margaluyu to have proper road infrastructure will soon be fulfilled.
The head of the local RW, Ujang, when HarapanRakyat.com contacted him via WhatsApp message, Tuesday (22/03/2022), confirmed the existence of a road infrastructure improvement program.
Ujang said that the damage to the Gunung Asih II Margaluyu road infrastructure had been going on for a long time.
According to him, the new repair program this time could be carried out because previously it was constrained by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, when Harapanrakyat.com asked for information about the road repair program activities, the Head of the Village TPK as well as the Village Head of Gunas II, Ali, Tuesday (22/03/22) suggested asking the Margaluyu Village Government directly.
The Repair of Gunas II Margaluyu Road Costs More than 200 Million
Head of Margaluyu Village, Herlan, when HarapanRakyat.com contacted via WhatsApp message, confirmed the ongoing road repair activities.
Herlan explained that the construction of the Panaragan road infrastructure is located in the Gunung Asih II Hamlet.
According to Herlan, as stated in the information board, the volume of roads that are undergoing repairs or construction this time is 315 meters x 3 meters.
The total budget for the construction of the road reaches Rp. 231,820,000 and sourced from the Village Fund (DD).
In addition, said Herlan, the road construction activity is targeted to be completed within 20 calendar days.
For the implementation program, Herlan added, the Village Government appointed a Village Implementation Team (TPK). (Deni/R4/HR-Online)
