TANGERANG SELATAN, KOMPAS.com – One of the outstanding madrasa students, Muhammad Fawwaz Farhan Farabi, was accepted in five universities spread across Asia to Europe.
Of the many foreign universities that accepted him, the graduate of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia (MAN IC Serpong) preferred to continue his education at the University of Indonesia (UI) for law.
“The plan is to take the law faculty of the University of Indonesia,” Fawwaz told Kompas.com, Monday (4/42022).
He chose the UI campus not without reason. The man turned out to aspire to become a professor in the field of law.
“Because of all the existing majors, I am most interested in law, and for legal science, the basics of law in Indonesia can only be studied in Indonesia,” explained Fawwaz.
“In addition, I can also build networking here first so that it will be easier when I enter the world of work later,” he continued.
What Fawwaz is currently learning cannot be separated from the encouragement of his parents. Since childhood, he was motivated to be able to follow in the footsteps of his parents through education up to the doctoral level.
That’s why Fawwaz is determined to do better or at least continue the success of his parents.
Fawwaz’s father, Suwendi is a state civil servant (ASN) in the Ministry of Religion.
His mother, Mesraini, is a lecturer at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
