KOMPAS.com – The government plans to open the acceptance of Candidates for Civil Servants (CPNS) and Government Employees with a Work Agreement (PPPK) in 2021.
The acceptance of CPNS and PPPK was discussed on Thursday (4/3/2021) at a meeting of bureaucratic simplification and procurement of 2021 State Civil Servant Candidates (CASN) within Ministries, Institutions and Local Governments.
Following up on the 2021 ASN selection plan which will be held in parallel, including the official school selection, PPPK, and CPNS, BKN is developing an integrated registration platform through the SSCASN portal.

Quotas and formations
From a meeting held by Kemenpan RB, the amount of ASN revenue quota in 2021 is set at around 1.3 million ASN.
The process of procuring CPNS and PPPK Teachers in 2021, with a total number of around 1.3 million employees, is the first experience for the government.

- 1 million KDP teacher formations.
- 189,000 ASN formations in local government.
- 83,000 CPNS / CPPPK ASN formations in the central government.
The 1.3 million formation is a requirement for 2 years, namely 2020 to 2021.
Meanwhile, the formations that were opened in the acceptance of CASN 2021, namely:
- KDP Teacher Formation.
Applicants from Ex THK-2 Honorary Teachers and PPG Graduates. - Local government ASN formation.
Consisting of 70,000 PPPK JF apart from teachers and 119,000 CPNS technical positions that are urgently needed, including health workers. - Central government CPNS / PPPK formation.
The amount is in accordance with the needs of each agency for the various positions required.
Meanwhile, the procurement schedule for the 2021 CASN selection is currently in the process of being discussed with the Ministry of Education and Culture and BKN.

Integrated portal
Meanwhile, related to the government’s plan to hold ASN selection.
Head of BKN Bima Haria Wibisana said, BKN is currently developing an integrated registration platform through the portal ASN Candidate Selection System (SSCASN).
This integrated registration platform is to accommodate the registration of all ASN selections.
Registration in the SSCASN portal is divided into 3 main platforms, namely:
- CPNS Selection System (SSCN).
- CPNS Selection System through Official Education (SSCN DIKDIN).
- PPPK Selection System (SSP3K).
Later, the processing of the selection results will be integrated into the portal.
The processing of the incoming value will be processed without interference from any party and in accordance with the provisions.
“The SSCASN portal will also provide selection processing features such as SKD and SKB,” he said in a virtual coordination meeting held by KemenpanRB, Thursday (4/3/2021).
SSCASN will also be integrated with NIK data in Dukcapil as initial registration data.
For teacher formation, SSCASN will be integrated with checking the Unique Educator and Education Personnel Number (NUPTK) data for Dapodik data validation.
SSCASN will also be integrated with accreditation of study programs and accreditation of Universities and Higher Education Institutions including the validation of diploma numbers which are managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.
Meanwhile, for applicants for the formation of Health Workers, SSCASN will be integrated with the Registration Certificate (STR) data in cooperation with the BKN and the Ministry of Health.
