This winter, the company plans to train about 220 people in the Baltics to start a career in the IT industry.

The new center focuses on developing and delivering a wide range of cross-industry technology solutions across all leading technology platforms, as well as custom engineering, infrastructure and cloud services to customers worldwide. Currently, companies and organizations are actively implementing various cloud technology solutions and services, several projects have been implemented during the year, when customers fully switch to cloud technologies, he explains. For example, in the field of telecommunications, the project enabled the service provider to improve customer communication so that customers could receive answers to their questions more quickly through various digital channels. Digital ecosystems are being developed in a number of sectors, including not only online sales, website and application development, but also the introduction of new services and opportunities. Several companies improved their online sales capabilities, systems integration and data analytics over the past year. In the financial services industry, automation, blockchain and various IT system development projects were continued to improve and better monitor business processes, interoperability of different platforms and systems. At the same time, there is a demand for various contactless solutions and speech technologies. Currently, the “Agile” approach and the “DevOps” ideology are actively used in IT projects.
Last year, Accenture continued and implemented a number of educational activities, including Investments were made in the IT Education Fund to build a strong community of programming teachers in Latvia, as well as to promote and improve the digital skills of the Latvian population. In order to increase the number of IT specialists in the Baltics, Accenture is offering 12 training courses this winter, which will cover both traditionally demanded areas such as Java, .NET, automated testing, data visualization, robotics, and a new course – SAP programming languages ABAP learning. A training course is also available in the SAP area to learn about business tools, including data migration solutions. There are also a number of cloud technology training courses this winter, where you will learn about cloud computing infrastructure solutions, automation and integration tools.
Bootcamp training is part of the company’s recruitment program, after which participants receive a certificate and, most successfully, a paid Interenture internship. Most trainees become employees of the company. The training acquires basic IT knowledge and skills for starting a career, and they are closer to everyday work on projects. During the training, participants acquire both practical and theoretical knowledge and learn to work in a team. Training provides an opportunity to work in the IT industry and continue working in an international company. The training is free and lasts for several weeks, depending on the chosen field of training. All training will take place under the guidance of remotely experienced lecturers and mentors.
