Acceleration of the vaccination campaign for health professionals | ameli.fr

Faced with the Covid-19 epidemic, the public authorities have decided to speed up the vaccination campaign in order to protect the populations most exposed and most at risk as soon as possible. The Haute Autorité de santé (HAS) has identified health professionals aged 50 and over or with one or more comorbidities as priority for vaccination.

As a reminder, the comorbidities identified by the HAS as a proven risk of hospitalization or death are as follows (1):

  • obesity (BMI> 30), especially in the youngest;
  • COPD and respiratory failure;
  • complicated arterial hypertension;
  • heart failure;
  • diabetes (type 1 and type 2);
  • chronic renal failure;
  • cancers and malignant haematological diseases active and less than 3 years old;
  • having a solid organ or hematopoietic stem cell transplant.

All liberal health professionals have received information from the Health Insurance.

Eligible at-risk healthcare professionals can get vaccinated now.

In order to facilitate their procedures, they will find below the list of vaccination centers where they can be vaccinated. This list is intended to evolve in the days and weeks to come with the opening of new centers.

The map of vaccination centers is available on the website solidarites-sante.gouv.fr.

To learn more about the vaccination strategy against Covid-19, consult the HAS guide “Sars-Cov-2 vaccination strategy” on the has-sante.fr website.

(1) In addition, the HAS identifies trisomy 21 as a risk comorbidity. Not all comorbidities have the same weight. The accumulation of these comorbidities is also at risk.
