Tasks:
The position holders should be involved in teacher training in mathematics and its didactics, especially in the area of primary school, as well as in examinations, the self-administration of the institute and the institute’s research projects.
The tasks also include a teaching obligation of usually 8 SWS and the supervision of students in school internships.
Requirements:
A relevant university degree is required (e.g. teaching qualification with mathematics as a subject) as well as practical school skills. Experience in the training and further education of teachers, particularly in the area of mathematics didactics at the primary level, as well as scientific experience in mathematics didactics are also desired. Sensitivity in gender-specific issues is expected. The Freiburg University of Education sees itself as a family-friendly university.
