AC Milan News – AC Milan appear to be on course to strengthen their ranks in the January transfer window, with a focus on bringing in a centre-back and centre-forward. A report from the morning edition of Corriere della Sera mentioned their efforts to fix problems in these two departments.
In the club’s bid to strengthen its attack line, the Rossoneri have reportedly broken the deadlock in the hunt for Jonathan David, the Canadian international who currently plays for Lille. Last summer, David was valued at €60 million, however, his form this season and a contract expiring in June 2025 make the striker much more affordable.
Jonathan David managed to score 24 goals in the French league last season, but this season, his contribution has decreased with only scoring four goals in 14 matches. Even so, AC Milan, which is not completely sure about Luka Jovic’s performance, is optimistic that it can get a satisfactory offer for the player.
Conditions of a lower asking price of €60 million in the summer have AC Milan confident they can seal a deal to bring Jonathan David to the club. By focusing on improving the attack line, the Rossoneri hope to solve the problem in the striker position in the January transfer window.
