Bola.net – AC Milan officially signed Luka Jovic from Fiorentina. The Serbian striker was recruited for one season until June 30 2024.
Milan is indeed working on the arrival of a new striker on the deadline day for the 2023 transfer market. There are several names that the Rossoneri are aiming for, Jovic is the most reasonable choice.
Quoting Football Italia, it is believed that Jovic’s agent has been offering his client to Milan for the last few months. At first Milan weren’t interested, but in the end they didn’t have much choice.

Quoting Italian Football, Jovic is actually not Milan’s first choice. However, fast changes in the transfer market deadline day forced Milan to move quickly.
Milan failed to approach Medhi Taremi from Porto, failed to approach Patson Daka from Leicester City, also failed to seduce Rafa Mir from Sevilla.
It stated that the players were worth a minimum of 15 million euros with an option to buy. So, because time was running out, Milan finally chose to bring in Jovic.

Chance for Jovic
Joining Milan is a breath of fresh air for Jovic. The Serbian striker, having not played for Fiorentina during pre-season, was not included in coach Vincenzo Italiano’s plans.
Last summer, Real Madrid let Jovic join Fiorentina for free. Now, Milan has brought in Jovic on a free loan scheme as well.
