AC Milan officially recruiting Ciprian Tatarusanu. The Romanian goalkeeper was transferred from Olympic lyon.
Milan announced that Tatarusanu was coming through their official website, Saturday (12/9/2020) evening WIB. He is under contract for three seasons by the Rossoneri until June 2023.
Lyon said that Milan redeemed this 34-year-old player with a transfer value of 500 thousand euros. Tatarusanu was brought in by Lyon free transfer the start of last season from Nantes. He only made six appearances with Les Gones because he was unable to compete with Anthony Lopes.
This is not the first time Tatarusanu has experienced playing in a Serie A team. Previously, he was Fiorentina’s main goalkeeper in the 2014-2017 range.
The Tatarusanu played a total of 101 matches during three seasons at La Viola. He was also coached by current Milan coach Stefano Pioli while defending Fiorentina.
Tatarusanu will wear the number one jersey in Milan. He is projected to be Gianluigi Donnarumma’s cover under Il Diavolo’s crossbar.
The Bucharest-born goalkeeper praised Donnarumma as a great goalkeeper who deserves to be Milan’s first choice. He hopes to establish a good relationship with the Italian goalkeeper.
“It seems that the whole world, at first no one knows who he is. However, he immediately proved he was ready to play in a team like Milan,” said Tatarusanu of Donnarumma. Football Italia.
