AC Milan began his series of pre-season matches against Lumezzane. Rossoneri won 7-0 in this fight.
AC Milan tested Lumezzane at the Milanello training center, Thursday (20/7/2023) evening WIB. This is their pre-season opener.
Stefano Pioli put out a strong start, with new goalkeeper Marco Sportiello in goal. Alessandro Florenzi, Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori and Matteo Gabbia in defence.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek guarded the midfield flanked by Tommaso Pobega and Rade Krunic. Up front, the trio of Junior Messias, Lorenzo Colombo and Christian Pulisic became the battering ram in the defense.
Milan, who appeared dominant, had a four-goal lead in the first half. Pobega opened the scoring in the fifth minute, followed by a second goal in the 17th minute.
Not long after, in the 18th minute, Messias also listed his name on the scoreboard. Lorenzo Colombo had brought Milan a 4-0 lead in the 20th minute.
Colombo then scored his second goal in the 42nd minute. 5-0 score lasted until the first half ended.
Milan then received a penalty in the 65th minute and was executed successfully by Luca Romero. Two minutes later, Kevin Zeroli scored Milan’s seventh goal.
The goal ended Milan’s victory party in the first game of pre-season. They will then fly to the United States for tour and face Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona, then return to Italy to face Monza.
