AC Milan Defeat AS Roma, Stefano Pioli: Long Time No Against Big Clubs

Victory over Roma is the first three points of the Rossoneri this season when facing the big six teams.

Stefano Pioli happily celebrated AC Milan’s 2-0 victory over AS Roma on Sunday (28/6), and said his team had waited a long time to defeat one of the big clubs in Serie A.

It was the Rossoneri’s second win in the 2019/20 Serie A campaign, having restarted the competition with a 4-1 win over Lecce after three months through a vacuum due to the corona virus pandemic.

Even more special, the victory over Rome is also the achievement of three points inaugural Milan this season when facing clubs that inhabit the top six standings.
