The ABYSS quintet of the renowned Latvian jazz saxophonist and composer Tomas Rudzinskis offers a fusion of avant-garde and jazz with electronic music. The listeners are waiting for expressive melodies, strong rhythms and bright interplay of musicians – jazz music that goes outside the club to a wider circle of listeners, taking with it the fearlessness characteristic of jazz to experiment on the way to complete musical freedom.
The new album “ABYSS” inspired by mythology and modern man’s quest will be unveiled at the concert, with the participation of specially invited guests at each place of the Baltic concert tour.
as the second performer this evening, the Danish futuristic rock/jazz/drum’n’bass trio draws inspiration from ancient music and complex rhythm patterns. Jazz, groove, hypnotic rhythms and exciting melodies, the trio’s music, according to critics, is “incomparable within the boundaries of the genre and completely captivates the listener’s mind”.
