Adhika Bakrie, nephew of the conglomerate Aburizal Bakrie reportedly bought a mansion on a hillside at Trousdale Estates. Unmitigated, the palace, which is located at 514 Chalette Drive, Beverly Hills, was redeemed by Adhika at a price of US$ 28 million or the equivalent of Rp 406 billion (exchange rate of Rp. 14,500/US$).

Inside there are various luxurious facilities ranging from a gym, theater, elevator, beauty salon, and a master bedroom covering an area of 487 square meters. The palace also has a swimming pool and a 640 square meter underground garage.
Before falling into the hands of Adhika, this palace had been in and out of the luxury home market since June 2020. Initially, this luxury house was sold for US$ 39 million. The price had dropped to US$ 34.85 million a few months later. It was sold, then listed and re-offered for US$ 32.5 million last April.
According to records, the seller at that time was LBJ Property 1, LLC. The entity paid US$7.9 million for the mansion in February 2016.
Not surprisingly, it seems for Adhika to own the assets of this super luxury property. The owner’s full name Adhika Andrayudha Bakrie, who is now 36 years old, is known to be a director at Bakrie Sumatera Plantations, which produces palm oil and rubber products.
The Bakrie family itself was the richest family in Indonesia in 2007. At that time, Aburizal Bakrie served as Coordinating Minister for People’s Welfare. Aburizal and his family are estimated to have a net worth of US$ 5.4 billion in 2007, up from US$ 1.2 billion in 2006. The biggest contributor to Aburizal’s increase in wealth is the surge in the stock price of the Bakrie Group’s coal company Bumi Resources.
The collapse in coal prices has lowered the position of families in terms of comparative wealth within Indonesia’s borders. According to Asia Times, the family is not in Indonesia’s top 50 in terms of net worth.
Although no longer listed as the richest person, it seems that the Bakrie family has not lost its coffers.
