“Abu Muhammad Appeals for Help After Losing Job and Facing Rent Arrears”

(Abu Muhammad) told the story of his suffering to «Emirates Today», saying that he has been working in a private sector company (marketing department) for more than 25 years, and because of his stable financial situation, he was able to start a small family in 2018, consisting of a five-year-old child. , and a wife (a housewife), and their life affairs were stable and devoid of obstacles, as he was able to provide a suitable environment for his family members by providing housing and food, and he did not know that he would face difficult days that would upset his happiness and change his family life.

And he continued that in April of 2020, he was surprised by an e-mail message, informing him that the company in which he works had suffered a great financial loss, and it would be closed, as all its employees were laid off, and they were given all their financial dues, as he was able to pay off debts, bank installments, and rent. The house is for the year 2022, leaving a small amount that he paid to perform an urgent surgery (disc) for his wife after she had back pain.

(Abu Muhammad) continued that when all the money he collected, which he obtained during his working years, ran out, debts and financial obligations began to accumulate on his shoulders, and he tried to search for a new job that would help him support his family, and restore balance to his life again, but all his attempts failed. This led to his inability to pay the rent.

He explained that he tried to explain the deteriorating financial situation that he is going through to the owner of the house, in order to take into account his financial conditions, and give him a deadline to pay, but he refused, and he filed a lawsuit demanding that he pay the rental arrears in full.

(Abu Muhammad) expressed his fear and concern that his family would become without a breadwinner, especially since he was threatened with imprisonment at any moment, in the event of non-payment of rental arrears, appealing to good people and people with kind hearts to help him arrange 19 thousand and 600 dirhams, the value of the rental arrears accumulated on him. .
