Abu Dhabi to Host Second Edition of Arab Swimming Championship

ABU DHABI, 11 October / WAM / Abu Dhabi is hosting the second edition of the Arab Swimming Championship for the general category, organized by the Emirates Swimming Federation in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, with the participation of 119 male and female swimmers from 15 Arab countries, from October 27 to 30, at the Mohammed City Swimming Pool. Bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi.
The tournament organizing committee held its first meeting, headed by Abdullah Al-Wahaibi, who confirmed the completion of all preparations for the tournament, and that the names of the organizing committee and working committees, the marketing and media plan, and all matters related to volunteers had been approved, in addition to preparing the swimming pool to host the major Arab event.
The head of the organizing committee explained that the date of the technical meetings had been agreed upon, as there will be a meeting for the teams participating in the tournament on October 26 at the teams’ hotel, followed by a meeting of the referees on the same day at the Mohammed bin Zayed City swimming pool, the tournament’s venue.
