The Outer Regions Police Directorate of the Criminal Security Department of the Abu Dhabi Police, in collaboration with the Family Development Foundation, organized the seventh social forum for the elderly and residents for the year 2024, under the public -call “Improving the quality of life of the elderly,” at the Barakat Al Dar Social Club in Al Wathba.
Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Faten Muhammad Manahi, Head of the Support Services Department at Al Falah Police Station and Deputy Head of the Operations and Partnerships Team in the Directorate, confirmed that the forum falls within the interest of the Abu Dhabi Police. to enhance the quality of life in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its cultural and humanitarian initiatives in collaboration with its partners to make the community happy, showing that it is an opportunity to communicate and to exchange intergenerational experiences to strengthen environmental provision that ensures integrated care for the elderly and residents.
The Abu Dhabi Police Music Band presented a group of their musical pieces to the appreciation of families, and the Happiness Patrol participated in spreading positivity to residents, a heritage corner for photography, a corner for Shakhbout Medical City which focused on to raise awareness about osteoporosis, and a corner for Du to present his results together with Heritage paragraphs that children show as an expression and pride in the status of the elderly and their role in building generations.
