Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Approves Registration for New Citizen Lawyers and Law Office Representatives

The Lawyers Affairs Committee of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department issued a decision approving the applications for registration in the register of practicing lawyers for 9 new citizen lawyers, in addition to accepting the application to register a representative of a lawyer’s office in the register of representatives of law offices.

This came during the meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, where the committee reviewed two complaints against two lawyers, and took appropriate decisions regarding them. It also reviewed requests to renew the registration of 7 lawyers whose registration had expired for more than two months, while it reviewed Requests to transfer registration to the list of non-practicing lawyers to 4 lawyers.

The committee held its meeting under the chairmanship of the Undersecretary of the Judicial Department, and the membership of Judge Bushaib Hajami, President of the Al Ain Court of Appeal, Judge Assem Al Saadani – Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal, Counselor Muhammad Dhuwayher Al Kathiri – Public Prosecution, Counselor Ali Al Fraihat, Lawyer Abdullah Fadl Al Hammadi, and Khamis Mubarak. Al Qubaisi, Director of the Legal and Expert Affairs Department, is the committee’s rapporteur.
