The company responsible for organizing the Abu Dhabi International Friendly Championship announced the details of the press conference attended by Zamalek Club officials to announce the launch of the tournament and the teams participating in it, which is scheduled to be held from January 18 to 24.
Four clubs are participating in the tournament: Al-Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia, Umm Salal of Qatar, Al-Wahda of the Emirates, and Zamalek of Egypt. The white team is scheduled to play its first match against Al-Wahda of the Emirates on January 20.
It was decided to grant the Zamalek Club a generous sum of money for participating in this friendly tournament next January, in partnership with 3 other clubs.
On the other hand, Zamalek is preparing to face Angola’s Sagrada in the match scheduled for next Wednesday in the fourth round of the Confederation Cup.
