Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority is coming to Florence! Inspection acceptance report
The other day, 8 people from the United Arab Emirates came to our Florence office!
This time, members of the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Education Authority and others came to Japan to inspect facilities for young children in Japan, and while they were busy visiting facilities, they also stopped by our Florence office.
Chairman Komazaki explained the details of Florence’s business, the policy recommendations it has made, and the details of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare’s Ikumen Project, in which he has been involved for many years as chairman.
(Komazaki had a hard time presenting in English, which he is not used to, but I think he was able to convey his enthusiasm as well!)
In between the explanations, we received many questions from everyone.
Many interesting questions and opinions were raised, and it was a learning experience for us as well.
We would like to introduce some of the questions you have asked us.
● In the UAE, English and Arabic are studied at school, but what is the situation with language learning in Japan?
● I heard that the Children and Families Agency was established in Japan. What happened after the Children and Families Agency was established?
● When a man takes childcare leave, can he return in the same position?
● Why did the rate of male employees increase significantly?
● On average, how much childcare leave do men and women take?
● (Regarding working with children in the office) Will they be in the office all day?
● (Regarding working with children in the office) Are there any complaints from other employees about the noise?
● About the target audience of Japanese children’s centers and the activities they offer
We will continue to accept inspections from overseas!
Beyond this visit, I hope to continue to keep in touch and exchange information with everyone at the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Education Department.
(At the end of the event, we received a doll wearing such a wonderful ethnic costume and a cup! This doll probably has potpourri inside, and it smells really nice! Thank you for the wonderful souvenirs. Masu!!)
