Abu Bakr scores historic goal against Brazil… and gets sent off

The Cameroon national team bowed out of FIFA World Cup competitions with their heads held high after beating the Brazil national team 1-0 in Friday’s match that united them in the third and final round of Group G competitions, the first win in history for the African teams compared to the team that has won the championship 5 previous times.

The Cameroon national team owes the credit for this victory to their player, Vincent Aboubakar, who scored the only goal of the game in the second minute of stoppage time before being sent off directly for receiving a second yellow card after taking off his shirt during the celebration.

The balance of the Brazilian national team stopped six points at the top of the standings, on goal difference against the Swiss national team, who defeated Serbia 3-2 in the match that brought them together at the same time.

The Cameroonian team, on the other hand, raised their tally to four points, in the penultimate third place.
