The third and fourth points are summarized under the term position in life.
According to the insurance conditions and the Insurance Contract Act (VVG), the referral profession must be comparable in terms of life position.
The position in life is largely shaped by income and the social appreciation of the job.
So a comparison is made between the job when you were still healthy and the new job that the insurance company claims you can pursue this new job.
An important point in this test is to what extent a comparable profession is still reasonable for you.
According to case law, a job that leads to an income of 80% or even less is no longer reasonable (compared to your job when you were healthy).
If even one of the four prerequisites is not met, the abstract reference is ineffective and one can effectively defend against it. The insurance must then pay.
