However, since the government released cooking oil prices to market mechanisms starting March 16, 2022, cooking oil stocks suddenly flooded the market. However, prices exploded, even a record penetrated Rp. 28,000 per liter.

Now the price of cooking oil for several brands has been observed to fall, although not evenly.

Meanwhile, the Jakarta Food Information website noted that the price of bulk cooking oil was also observed to fall on Sunday, May 8, 2022. To Rp19,810 per kg, down Rp1,017 compared to the price on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Indeed, this price is still higher. higher than the HET set by the government, which is Rp. 14,000 per liter or Rp. 15,500 per kg.
