“Absolute proof” received the anti-award “Golden Raspberry” for the worst film, announced “Rotton Tomato”.
The anti-awards are presented the day before the Oscars. The musical “Music” by the pop star Sia was awarded with the most “Golden Raspberry” statuettes this year, followed by “Absolute Proof” by Mike Lindell and “Borat 2” with two awards each.
“Music” received anti-awards in three categories – for worst actress in a starring role for Kate Hudson, for worst actress in a supporting role for Maddie Ziegler and for worst director for Sia.
Former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani has won two anti-awards for “Borat 2” – for worst supporting actor and worst screen combination for the scene in which Giuliani, a former adviser to US President Donald Trump, plays himself , and Tutar, the heroine of the Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova, interviewed him.
The documentary “Absolute Proof” was also awarded in the category of worst actor thanks to Mike Lindell.
The winners were determined by online voting of 1,097 people from the United States and more than 20 countries around the world, members of the Golden Raspberry Foundation. They register online and pay a $ 40 membership fee. The Golden Raspberry Anti-Awards were established in 1980 as an antidote to the Hollywood awards season. The statuette is a plastic raspberry with a gold coating, the value of which does not exceed five dollars.
