285 municipalities in Styria voted three months late on Sunday. The result of Altaussee was particularly eye-catching. In the 1888-inhabitant community, a new citizen list made it to second place right away, and that’s not all: the “Dialogus worth living Altaussee” (DLA) even overturned the “Absolute” of the ÖVP in town and banished the SPÖ from place three.
The list is supported not only by the Greens, but also by the writer Barbara Frischmuth and the actor Klaus-Maria Brandauer. In total they received 319 votes, which means 28.48%.
