Racing game is focused on drift style and features 34 levels, six cars and lots of additional content
Since June 9th, GOG has been promoting the 2021 Summer Sale, an event that is bringing a series of promotions for the games that are sold in the store. In addition, on certain days, some games are also being offered for free, and in the next two days, the game Absolute Drift: Zen Edition can be purchased for free at the store.
Launched in 2015 and developed by Funselektor Labs Inc., Absolute Drift, as its name suggests, is a racing game focused on drift style. The gameplay of the game brings the top-down camera, where the challenge is to master the “arte do drift”, where you need to skid the car as close to the corners, and at the same time, stay most of the time with the vehicle sideways when cornering.
The game has six customizable cars that can be conquered through the three available modes – Driftkhana, Drifting and Mountain Drifting, in one total of 34 levels. There are also five maps where the player can freely roam to test their drift skills, including an airport, docks and a “floating metropolis”, with online leaderboards, replays and ghost cars to compare your performance with other players around the world .
The Zen Edition, launched in 2017 and developed in partnership with the studio FlippFly, developer of Race the Sun, adds even more content to the game. This edition features new event challenges, a Drift Lines mode where the player has to navigate targets on the road, five nightly events and a new in-game tutorial and guide to help newcomers master the art of drift.
