A Maulana Vikri managed to bring FK Senica won three consecutive wins during his absence from defending Indonesian National team of group phase AFF Cup 2020 (AFF Cup 2021).
The Indonesian national team has passed four matches in Group B of the AFF Cup without Egy Maulana Vikri. The 21-year-old striker has not been able to join the Indonesian national team because his club, FK Senica, still needs him.
However, during his absence from the AFF Cup group stage, Egy managed to make a positive contribution to Senica. The player from Medan helped to bring Senica to win three Slovak League matches in a row.
The 21-year-old managed to bring Senica to consecutive wins with an identical score of 1-0 over Liptovsky (4/12), Pohroni (11/12), and Trencin on Saturday (18/12).
When facing Liptovsky, Egy appeared as a starter and played for 83 minutes. Then when Senica traveled to Pohroni’s headquarters, Egy was introduced as a substitute for Milan Jurdik in the 73rd minute.
Meanwhile, when Senica beat Trencin, Egy appeared as a starter and played for 56 minutes before being replaced by Gabriel Halabrin.
Three consecutive wins have made Senica now move up to sixth place in the Slovak League standings with 24 points from 19 matches played.
Previously, it was rumored that Egy would join the Indonesian national team after Senica played against Trencin because the Slovak League entered a competition holiday until February 2022. However, until now Egy’s arrival to the Indonesian national team is still confusing.
Regarding Egy’s arrival to the AFF Cup, PSSI Secretary General Yunus Nusi also did not provide an answer. Yunus Nusi’s messages and telephone calls have not yet been responded to by Yunus Nusi.
The Indonesian national team will next face Singapore in the two legs of the AFF Cup semifinal match.
Indonesia as the winner of Group B will be the guest team in the first leg of the AFF Cup semifinal at the National Stadium, Singapore, Wednesday (22/12).
Then, Indonesia will host the second leg of the semifinal which will be held at the National Stadium, Singapore, Saturday (25/12).
