About Water-Ground 33 Regions to the Archipelago and Jokowi’s Invitation to Camp

A total of 33 governors throughout Indonesia were invited by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to camp at the zero point of the state capital (IKN) by bringing water and soil from their respective regions. There is a philosophy of why President Jokowi asked 33 governors throughout Indonesia to bring the water and land.

Later, the water and land brought by the 33 governors will be combined in one container. The unification of water and land from the 33 regions is carried out in a special ritual or procession held at the zero point IKN Nusantara today.

“There is a procession where basically we pray and ask Allah SWT so that this big program can run well and all elements of society can support it,” said Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono in a press conference broadcast on the Setpres YouTube channel, Sunday (13/13). /3/2022).

The procession of unification of water and land from 33 regions was named Kendi Nusantara. As a ritual, of course this procession is sacred. Moreover, the water and land brought by 33 governors throughout Indonesia were taken from locations according to the local wisdom of each region.

“The process is for governors to bring land and water from each region, which are taken from location points which of course are in accordance with local wisdom and respective cultures,” said Heru.

In the Kendi Nusantara procession, 33 governors will hand over the water and land they brought to President Jokowi. Only then one by one the water and soil are put in one container.

“There the governors will hand it over to the President, and the President will pour the barrels that we have prepared into one,” said Heru.

As the concept of the vision of the archipelago, Tanah Air is a term to refer to the entire land of Indonesia which consists of land and sea. That is the main philosophy of the water and land unification procession carried by 33 governors throughout Indonesia.

“Why land and water? Of course we are an archipelagic country from the tip of Aceh to Papua and local wisdom is different. It is expressed in the symbols of land and water, made into one sentence for the homeland,” said Heru.

“And the governors have submitted. And the climax is tomorrow with the President,” he continued.

After being put together, the water and soil containers brought by the 33 governors will be stored at the zero point of IKN Nusantara.
