Virgil van Dijk suffered an injury after being tackled by Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in a match which was held on Saturday (17/10/2020).
The Dutch center-back was forced to leave the field when the game had only been running for 11 minutes.
Van Dijk was immediately rushed to the hospital due to the injury.

He reportedly suffered serious injuries to the knee ligaments, precisely to the anterior cruciate ligament or ACL.
As a result, the 29-year-old is predicted to be on the sidelines for a long time to undergo surgery and recovery.
