Born in 1988, she studied fashion design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna under Veronique Branquinho and Bernhard Willhelm. She worked for stylist Karl Templer in New York and the luxury label Lanvin in Paris.
In between, she presented a collection under her name at Berlin Fashion Week. Porkar was one of the finalists at the renowned festival for fashion and photography in Hyères and received the Chloé Special Prize. It was there that Kenzo’s chief designers became aware of the Viennese girl and hired Porkar in 2016. She switched to at the end of 2019
