Chairman Indonesian Epidemiologist Association (PAEI) Hariadi Wibisono reveal if the covid vaccine that the government is working on is safe.
This is to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia.
“In time, the study will be completed and the vaccine can be done.”
“Later, we will go through the POM (Food and Drug Administration) again to obtain a distribution permit.”
“And it will be reviewed again the procedures that have passed the review,” Hariadi said in his statement, Thursday (5/10/2020).
Hariadi added that people do not need to worry excessively about the safety level of vaccines, because according to Hariadi the government has experience in dealing with vaccines.
“So in my opinion, the worry need not be excessive.”
“Because we are dealing with vaccines, besides these vaccines, there are already many vaccines that have more or less the same procedure
There is a hepatitis B vaccine, a vaccine for children, the procedure is all the same, “ he said.
Hariadi continued, before being released to the public, the vaccine must have tested its safety level. In addition, after being used by the community, it will still be monitored for any unwanted symptoms that should not have occurred.
