PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BNI) has finally taken legal action regarding the alleged loss of customer deposits from the Makassar branch office, South Sulawesi amounting to Rp 20.1 billion.
Quoted from information disclosure BNI Corporate Secretary Mucharom revealed that the company guarantees the security of all customer funds stored at BNI and the company also ensures that services at BNI continue to run normally.
“Regarding the case of the alleged forgery of deposit slips at the BNI Makassar Branch Office, the company has reported the case to the authorities and henceforth, the company supports all legal processes carried out in this regard,” he said in a statement, Wednesday (23/6/ 2021).
Mucharom appealed to all customers to activate BNI Mobile Banking so they can check the condition of their accounts at any time. Both related to incoming and outgoing funds, as well as other financial transactions.
“The company asks all customers to be obliged to maintain the confidentiality of their personal data and banking facilities,” he said.
