I decided to show them publicly so that everyone can judge and draw their own conclusions about the so-called “progressive” and “reformist” minded rulers.” This is what the People’s Representative from “BSP – Left Bulgaria” Jelio Boychev wrote on his Facebook profile.
In his words, the documents he published on the social network “clearly show the double standards and hypocrisy of these people.”
“Specially for “Voices”, he shared: The hypocrisy is clearly visible from the documents. The “Twins” cabinet, it turns out, corresponded too favorably with “Gazprom”, while the president Plevneliev, who appointed it, pours anger on Russia and “South Stream”.
“In my opinion, part of the reason why the project was stopped lies in this approach on our part. In front of the Russian side, you should claim that you support the project, and in front of the USA and the EU, you should try to seek a dividend for stopping it.”commented Zhelyo Boychev.

When President Plevneliev claims that Russia is almost an aggressor and is waging an information war with us, or when his acting minister writes these letters to Gazprom. When GERB in their election campaign declare the South Stream project a priority, or when Deputy Prime Minister Rumyana Bachvarova declares Borisov a hero for stopping three major Russian projects, the MP asks rhetorically.
I just don’t know how pleased our European partners will be when they see how the correspondence between us is forwarded to a third party. Or how campaigners against the project were willing to pay an advance to start constructionpredicted Boychev to “Voices”.
