Artist Ammar Zoni Arrested again in connection with a narcotics case with 1 gram of methamphetamine as evidence. As it turned out, the methamphetamine came from Boncos villagePalmerah, West Jakarta (West Jakarta).
“Buy the soap in the Boncos area,” said Head of Drug Investigation Unit at the South Jakarta Metro Police Commissioner Achmad Ardhy when contacted, Friday (10/3/2023).
The police said that the methamphetamine was bought by driver Ammar Zoni with the initial M (35). M was arrested in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (8/3/2023) afternoon after buying the methamphetamine. That evening, the police continued to arrest him Ammar Zoni at his residence in the Sentul area.
South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi revealed that initially Ammar Zoni asked the suspect with the initials M to buy methamphetamine. Ammar Zoni gave Rp. 1.5 million in cash to M.
“Then suspect M took the second suspect, namely suspect RH, together they rode a motorbike to the Boncos area of West Jakarta,” said Ade Ary during a press conference at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday (10/3).
Then the two suspects met someone who used to provide crystal methamphetamine in the Boncos area. Ade Ary said that this person is usually called ‘bang’.
“There the two suspects met someone who is usually called ‘Bang’, then by buying and handing over one million rupiah, the two suspects got 2 clear clips containing methamphetamine,” he said.
Boncos Village Raided After Ammar Zoni Arrested
The police carried out a raid on Boncos Village, West Jakarta, on Friday (10/3) evening, following the arrest of Ammar Zoni in relation to the methamphetamine case. As many as 15 people were arrested during the raid on Boncos Village this time.
“Meanwhile, 15 people have been arrested,” said the Head of the Palmerah Police, Kompol Dodi Abdurrohim, when contacted, Friday (10/3).
Apart from that, Dodi said that his party also secured a number of pieces of evidence. Some of them, from dozens of hooks to bongs for methamphetamine.
“About 15 pipes, about 20 matches, about 10 drinking bottles for bongs,” he said.
Meanwhile, the figure ‘Bang’, who was said to be a supplier of methamphetamine to Ammar Zoni, was not found at the location. “Not yet, nothing (the figure of ‘Bang’),” said Dodi.
