According to the Pediatrician at Pondok Indah-Puri Indah Hospital, dr. Ellen Wijaya, Sp.A, parents often accuse vaccines of containing harmful substances for children so they choose not to immunize. In fact, children who are not immunized can have fatal consequences such as paralysis and even death.
Doctor Ellen gave an example, the presence of aluminum as an adjuvant in the child vaccine, useful for boosting immunity. In addition, the aluminum makes the level of immunization given to children not too much.
