About Bent Høie: – – Have met a new guy

Love is blooming again for former health and care minister Bent Høie, we are to believe a new interview with his former husband.

Høie announced in October last year that he and his husband Dag Terje Klarp Solvang had separated.

To Fjell og Vidde, the member magazine of the Norwegian Tourist Association (DNT), the ex-husband now says about Bent Høie:

– He has met a new guy. I’ve met a new guy. Everything is completely unproblematic, says Solvang.

– Best friends in the world

Høie is currently state administrator in Rogaland. He was health minister for the Conservative Party during all of Erna Solberg’s eight years in government and a visible figure during the corona pandemic.

Dag Terje Klarp Solvang is general secretary of the Tourist Association.

Dagbladet has been in contact with both Høie and Solvang, who are familiar with the discussion of this case. Høie does not wish to comment further on the matter. Dag Terje Klarp Solvang also does not want to comment beyond what he has said Mountains and Plains.

– Just nice

In the interview, he comments on the still good relationship he has with Høie, and says that Høie is currently borrowing his apartment in Oslo.

– We were together yesterday afternoon – when he got the keys. We are still the best friends in the world, says Solvang to Fjell og Vidde.

– Bent is just nice, he says.

The couple were together for 26 years. In October last year, Bent Høie mentioned on Facebook that the two had separated.

– After 26 years along life’s country road, we have come to the decision that our lives must be lived separately. We have put a very demanding year behind us. But we have managed to communicate honestly the whole time, wrote Høie on Facebook.
