About 6,000 foreign mercenaries fighting in the ranks of the Ukrainian army were destroyed during the Special Military Operation. SIA reports that this was announced in a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
It was noted that during the special military operation, more than 13,500 foreign mercenaries arrived in Ukraine. More than 8.5 thousand of them came from Europe, more than 1.7 thousand from Asia, more than 2.7 thousand from North and South America, and more than 220 from Africa.
It was reported that Russian troops destroyed more than 5.9 thousand mercenaries during a special military operation, and more than 5.6 thousand mercenaries left Ukraine. Currently, more than 1.9 thousand foreign mercenaries are fighting in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the materials of the Ministry of Defense, it is also noted that foreign countries have given the Armed Forces of Ukraine more than 1.6 thousand rockets and artillery weapons, more than 200 anti-aircraft missile complexes, more than 5.2 thousand armored vehicles and more than 23 thousand drones.
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia announced the amount of foreign financial assistance to Ukraine. It was reported that Ukraine is supported by 54 countries, and the amount of financial assistance allocated to Kyiv is more than 203 billion dollars.
The Russian side claimed that more than 500 US and NATO satellites operate in the interests of the Ukrainian army. More than 70 of them are military and reconnaissance spacecraft, and the rest are dual-purpose commercial satellites. Also, the Ukrainian army uses more than 20 thousand terminals of the Starlink satellite system to organize control and communication.
