Every Monday in January the mobile vaccination clinic of the Municipality of Montevideo (IM) is operational from 9:00 to 15:00 and it is not necessary to book.
From Monday 2 January, the capital municipality began dispensing doses of the vaccine against the covid-19 at the mobile vaccination center located on the esplanade of the headquarters. This will be done every Monday in January between 9am and 3pm.
The doses can be received by all people over the age of 12, regardless of the vaccination stage they are in.
People over 80 and immunosuppressed can request the fifth booster dose.
People over the age of 50 who meet certain requirements, such as six months since the last dose received and have not had the disease in the last period, can also receive it.
The activity is carried out in order of arrival and there is no need to plan.
You have to show up with an identity card or passport and the administration of the vaccine is free.
On the first day of vaccination, according to the IM portal, 550 people were vaccinated.
