The High School Assessment for University Access (EBAU) will start in the Canary Islands this Wednesday with the first round of exams, corresponding to common subjects: Spanish Language and Literature II, First Foreign Language e History of Spain.
In the province of Santa Cruz of Tenerife they are scheduled to perform this test 4,792 people, of which in Tenerife they will 4.277; on The Palm, 402; on La Gomera, 82, and in The iron, 31.
The first exam, of Spanish Language and Literature II, will start at 09:30, but from 08.45 the students will be calling so that your place in the classroom is occupied. The second, Foreign Language, will be at 11.30, and the History of Spain, at 3.30.
To ensure that security and distance measures are met against Covid-19, this first batch of common subjects has been divided into two days: tomorrow will be for the students of the Science option, and last Thursday, June 10, for the Arts and Social Sciences and Humanities options, the content of the exams changed for others with the same difficulty. The tests on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 already correspond to elective subjects, so not all students will coincide at the same time in the same space.
Also to avoid crowds, in Tenerife examination sites are dispersed in different buildings in three locations: the Guajara Campus, the Anchieta Campus and in the sports hall Las Torres and the Safety School Y Coexistence of Adeje. On the website of the University of La Laguna it is possible to check where students from the different institutes on the island should take their exams. In the remaining islands of the province, the exams on La Palma will be held at the IES Alonso Pérez Díaz; in La Gomera, at the IES San Sebastián de La Gomera; and in El Hierro, at CEIP El Hierro.
The delivery of qualifications is scheduled on June 18 from 3:00 p.m. electronically. That same day, until 12 noon on June 22, it will be possible to request the simple revision or the double correction of the exams, and the new resulting grade after these processes would be published on June 25.
