About 200 horses from Oostvaardersplassen to slaughter | Inland

LELYSTAD – Staatsbosbeheer will soon be bringing about two hundred Konik horses from the Oostvaardersplassen to slaughter. At the end of May, the group of horses entered the catching meadow themselves. Because there are still far too many horses in the nature reserve in Flevoland, the area manager has closed the fence of the trapping meadow, so that the number of free-roaming koniks is again reduced.
