About 180 Ryanair flights canceled Friday and Saturday | To travel

The biggest inconvenience is for Charleroi airport, where on Friday and Saturday about 80 flights would be canceled, outward and return flights would be combined. According to figures from VTM Nieuws, at least 127 flights have already been canceled and that would have consequences for 21,000 passengers.

At least fifteen flights have already been canceled at Brussels Airport, which has an impact on about 1,500 passengers this weekend. Some of the canceled flights can already be seen on the website of Zaventem airport.

No numbers are known for Sunday.

The social conflict is related to failed negotiations on a new collective labor agreement. According to the CNE and its Flemish counterpart ACV, Ryanair did not respect Belgian labor law in its proposals. Complaints are also made about errors in the pay slips. In addition, there is also a strike elsewhere in Europe at Ryanair.

Brussels Airlines will also be taking action in the coming days. Six out of ten flights will be canceled tomorrow and that will have an impact on about 40,000 passengers, according to VTM Nieuws. They are offered an alternative flight or get their money back.
