Madinat al-Kuwait |A local newspaper reported that more than 100 employees who were arrested for falsely registering their presence at their workplace in Kuwait returned the entire salary received during this period to the government. They registered their presence in the car using plastic fingerprints.
One person registered such presence on behalf of more than one hundred officials from the same government office. Only the officer who tampered with the case was arrested. Others were questioned before being added to the list of defendants. Meanwhile, they confessed to the crime and volunteered to return the salary they had received up to that point to the treasury. Following this, the government decided to reduce their fine.
