– Abortion talk is one of the things that makes me most furious in the whole world, states Martha Leivestad in Thursday’s episode of podcast «Nuvel» (on Schibsted-owned PodMe).
BACKGROUND: The abortion dispute briefly explained
The episode with Leivestad and Marlene Stavrum has been titled “Do not get pregnant in the US”, and in one segment they talk about how upset and cursed they are by the bill.
From before have more young stars responded after it became known that the United States Supreme Court may be about to reverse the interpretation of the Constitution that states that all American women have the right to self-determined abortion.

The leaked document is a draft, and the final decision is not expected until this summer. Everything from heads of stateHollywood stars and ordinary people have expressed their oppositionand it was already the same night the news came demonstrated outside the Supreme Court. Several conservatives have expressed support.
– I’m so upset. For politicians and conservative people who are against abortion, that they truly believe that by making it illegal, abortions stop, says Leivestad and continues:
– But it will not stop abortion. The only thing you do illegally then is safe abortion. It will only lead to people having abortions in dangerous ways.
–Stavrum also believes that the bill is very short-sighted, and compares it to the instrument house arrest. She points out that those who are desperate for abortion will find a solution anyway.
– It’s such a narrow mindset. And it makes me very angry and sad, says Leivestad.
On Wednesday, artists Billie Eilish (20) and Harry Styles (28) also shared text posters about the team on their Instagram stories.
