The activists of the Women’s Strike call for Sunday masses to be taken as part of the protest against the decision of the Constitutional Court, which prohibits abortion in the event of severe damage to the fetus. The women propose to throw a banknote specially prepared for the occasion on the tray.

“Take our banknote, go to church and put it on the tray! You don’t want to go inside – stick the poster outside! You want / you can write / say / do something else – act! And most importantly – take a picture, write a post, share with us and that the world! ” – activists are appealing.

A protest that has not happened in Gdańsk for a long time

Abortion. Judgment of the Constitutional Tribunal

Constitutional Court ruled on Thursday that the rule authorizing admissibility abortion in the case of a high probability of severe and irreversible impairment of the fetus or an incurable life-threatening disease, it is unconstitutional.

“Human life is a value at every stage of development, and as a value derived from constitutional provisions, it should be protected by the legislator” – stressed the Constitutional Tribunal in the justification.
