The new documentary on Netflix Harry and Meghan is causing a lot of controversy. As volumes grow, former members of the royal family uncover information that should have been kept from the public. The six-part miniseries also featured Meghan Markle’s mom, Doria, who couldn’t hold back tears much of the time as she talked about her daughter’s suicidal thoughts.
Doria Ragland is a mother Megan Markle and for this reason she entered a Netflix documentary Harry and Meghan lots of space. Also, some of the topics covered in the film were very emotional for her.
In one scene, she broke down in tears as she recounted how she “couldn’t protect” her daughter. Meghan had suicidal thoughts while living in the UK. “That he was having suicidal thoughts, that he didn’t want to be here…it’s not easy for mom to hear that. And I couldn’t protect her.” she sobbed in the documentary. Now, Doria lives near Harry and Meghan in Los Angeles, California, so she always has her daughter with her, as reported foreign website Daily mail.
Losing a child
The miniseries also touched on a very painful topic: abortion. Prince Harry mainly blames the British media, who were constantly on his heels, for the loss of the baby. “Do we know for sure that the miscarriage was caused by this? Well, of course not, but when I look at the stress, lack of sleep and the timing of the pregnancy, I can tell what they (the media) have been trying to do for her caused the miscarriage,” Harry says.
“I felt like it would all be over if I wasn’t here” Meghan describes the pressure she has felt from the press and as a member of the British royal family. Her husband, with tears in her eyes, said he hit rock bottom when the woman confided her feelings to him. “I never thought it would go this far. And when it did, I felt anger and shame. I didn’t deal with it very well.” she added, saying it was “institutional Harry”, not “husband Harry”. Which makes it very sad.

The document is quite controversial and Meghan Markle doesn’t wear napkins. Perhaps she and Harry don’t realize that this miniseries could snap their necks forever and deprive them of their last few fans in Britain.
During the first three episodes, the American managed to make fun of her Queen Elizabeth II. and digging at the same time Kate Middleton, which is very popular in Great Britain. Markle said she got to know the reality of real life thanks to her prince Williamovi and his wife. “When Will and Kate arrived…and I met her for the first time. They came to dinner,” Meghan says. “I remember being in ripped jeans and bare feet. I hug a lot, I always hug everyone. It has not occurred to me that many Britons find this quite shocking.” adds Meghan with a mischievous smile, drawing attention once again to the austerity of the British family.
