Washington – Following the Supreme Court’s controversial decision, a number of US states have already enacted far-reaching bans on abortion. In eleven US states such as Arkansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri and Louisiana, abortions are no longer permitted – not even in the case of rape or cases of incest. There are usually only exceptions for medical emergencies.
