“Abhimanyu Mithun Suggests RCB to Bring in Local Talent from Karnataka Cricket Team”

Former Indian cricketer Abhimanyu Mithun has suggested that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) look to bring in local talent from the current Karnataka cricket team. Mithun says that why should the team hesitate to give opportunities to emerging talents from their own country and the lack of such players is now affecting the team.

RCB is one of the most fan-favored franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL). This has not changed from time to time but according to their support the team has yet to win a league title. RCB is like Real Madrid’s dream team with all the best players but failing as a team is affecting them.

Commenting on RCB’s situation, Mithun says- “I don’t know if they (RCB) really want to buy Karnataka’s local players because whenever we won many trophies, RCB had few players from Karnataka. They used to own 5-6 players in the early days. But now they are not taking anyone, just a few stars as if to impress.”

R.C. Things are not so good for CB. The team has won only two of the five matches played so far and is currently placed eighth in the points table.
