Kolkata: Bengal opener Abhimanyu Eswaran, who was not considered for the Test series against New Zealand despite blazing in the Duleep Trophy, scored a century in the Ranji Trophy as well. Abhimanyu Eshwar’s unbeaten 127 off 172 balls took Bengal to a draw in the Ranji match against Uttar Pradesh. In the first innings, Bengal scored 311 runs and Bengal were all out for 292 runs.
In the second innings, Bengal scored 254 runs for the loss of three wickets and the match ended in a draw. Bengal won by three points on the strength of the first innings lead.
