At first, Abel tried to travel at the beginning of the week, after winning the Copa do Brasil. The flight ended up being canceled, since there is a difficulty in accessing Portugal, which classified Brazil as a country at risk due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus. Therefore, Leila offered her aircraft.
“When I heard about Abel’s difficulty in traveling to Portugal, I offered our plane. I am very happy to be able to help our technician find his family at such a difficult time for all of us. Due to the rules in Portugal, Abel will have to stay in quarantine for two weeks after arriving in his country. Thus, he should only return to São Paulo (SP) at the end of the month.
