Abdullah Salem Al Dhaheri Presents Credentials as Ambassador to East Timor: Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Abdullah Salem Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the UAE to the Republic of Indonesia and ASEAN, presented his credentials to Jose Ramos-Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of East Timor, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Democratic Republic of East Timor, during a ceremony that took place at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Dili.

Al Dhaheri conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy The Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Office, to the President and their wishes for his country and the Timorese people further progress and prosperity.

For his part, Ambassador Horta conveyed his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Office, and his wishes to the government and people of the UAE for further development and growth.

The President wished Al Dhaheri success in his work tasks in order to support and develop bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Democratic Republic of East Timor, which is witnessing remarkable development, stressing his country’s readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his tasks. Horta said that the UAE will be a strategic partner for his country in various fields.

In turn, Al Dhaheri expressed his pride in representing the UAE in the Republic of East Timor, and his keenness to strengthen and activate bilateral relations in various fields, especially the economic, commercial and investment fields, in order to achieve the interests of the two friendly countries.
