Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists have circulated on social media over the past few days, previous statements made by political science professor and former Kuwaiti parliamentarian, Abdullah Al-Nafisi, and his claims about Israel’s goals in the Gulf region.
Al-Nafisi’s circulated statements he made during a video clip he posted on his YouTube page in 2020, and he had touched on them during Interview with Al-Jazeera channel Go back to the year 2000 with the journalist Ahmed Mansour.
Al-Nafisi claims in his circulating statement that Israel “wants behind these agreements to arrange with some countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council on a very dangerous matter, which is the settlement of at least 3 million Palestinians in the desert of the Gulf…”
And Al-Nafisi previously caused an uproar among activists on the communication sites after statements in which he compared the Bedouins of the Arabian Peninsula to the Palestinians, during an interview with the Kuwaiti Al-Qabas in 2022 in which he said: “(Palestinians) know how to live. Bedouins, never, the Palestinian people are almost European people, I mean… I mean, the highest level of education among the Arab peoples is the Palestinian people, the technical cadres of doctors and doctors, and so on…”
